Support IDF Soldiers: Isn’t It Our Responsibility?
Over 7,000 soldiers serve in the IDF without families, with nearly half of them not being citizens of Israel? Soldiers who had an abusive childhood were orphans or came from families who abandoned them when they opted to join the army make up a small percentage of the army.
They are forgotten and left alone at a time when everyone else is celebrating a festival or Shabbat. These soldiers sacrifice a great deal in order to serve our country. We at Meir Panim make every effort to support IDF soldiers.
How To Support IDF Soldiers?
Donating to these troops lets them know you care and support them. Hot Shabbat meals, holiday meals, or food shipments would be provided to these soldiers. Meir Panim emphasizes the importance of establishing a cohesive community to fight food insecurity, hunger, and emotional suffering. Through our platform, we connect IDF soldiers with people who care about them and want to help. This is how you can support IDF soldiers.
The Meir Panim Project: Providing support to the IDF
You can show your support and gratitude to IDF soldiers by treating them to a Shabbat or holiday meal. When our defenders are in need, we provide them with tasty, hot meals. Whether they are combat soldiers or brand-new recruits, or disabled veterans struggling to make ends meet, we care about every person who needs our help. We move forward to extend a helping hand when we see a soldier in need.
